We are the future and the past, you just don't know it yet.
Did anyone else?

I mean, it was at the Casbah, but I didn't think it would be that close, like teabaggingly close.  Like throw your pelvis a few inches more and it will be in my face, close.

Nothing like Peter Murphy making kissy faces at you to perk at your day.  At least, that is all i got.  I think I might have gotten teabagged in I had been in the front row.

It was the politest show I've even been to at the Casbah, besides Sol Invictus.  Something about the goth set I guess.   Or prior goth set, since a lot of people were wearing color.   Usually I go to indie shows with younger people and I always get the two tall guys who crowd up in front of me after I have stood there awhile and they proceed to cross their heads in front of me, talking to each other.

None of that happened.   I did get some Peter Murphy water on me.
Ah, my gothling inside of me is sated.

I highly recommend seeing Peter Murphy if you can.  I know he's dangerously close to LA.  Then it's off to Pioneertown, which looks from Google maps, like a slice of the Old West.  Or not.  Still bizarre.

 http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/your-astronomical-sign.html

Everyone I know has shifted except me.  But all this "your horoscope is wrong!" stuff doesn't apply to everyone. I am still a healthy and jaunty Leo.

But then there is vedic astrology, based on my moon sign, which I always thought was Scorpio:

"Your Moon Sign is Libra
Libra is ruled by the planet Venus. In this combination, the Moon inherits the qualities of the stronger Venus-ruled Libra.

Your Moon sign in Libra graces you with elegance, refinement and artistic abilities. You are likely to be very diplomatic, balanced, gracious and very sensitive about not hurting people's feelings. You are blessed with wealth earned through your own efforts, and you love comforts and luxury, as well as beauty and harmony. Refinement is important to you and you look for the same in the people you associate with. A very strong intuition is another one of your qualities. Idealistic by nature, you are also extremely accommodating and popular, with a very large social circle.

The pleasures of life are important to you, and love and romance will play a very important part in your life. The Moon in the sign of Venus also gives you sensuality and strong interest sexual activity -- passion runs through your veins! You will enjoy a beautiful married life with a good looking partner. You could marry early in life and there will be a lot of romance in your relationship. This combination blesses you with both material and conjugal bliss.

However, you need to watch out for indecisiveness, deviousness and tendency to manipulate. You may be overly sensitive to criticism and lack direction or ambition at different stages of your life. This combination also indicates losses through misplaced affections, so you will need to be more careful in your personal relationships."

Despite this, I still have the characteristics of a Scorpio, rather than a Libra, since I read both entries.  I have a small social circle for one.

Do you prefer to live in a region with a temperate climate or four seasons, and why?

Four seasons.  Right now I live in a place that is the same most of the time.   Well, this year there has been more rain and lower temps which has been nice.   But no snow on Christmas is sort of boring as is wearing the same clothes all the time if the weather is the same.  Plus, if it is sunny and you are fair skinned, then you have to put on sunscreen every time you go out and that gets boring and time consuming too.  There is something special about watching trees bud in spring, leaves falling in autumn and snow in winter.   And the different clothes you get to wear with it.

Why are journals still on my friend's list that have been deleted years ago?  I just wondered because I thought the journals were only around for 30 days after you decided to delete them...yet I have several that are still around years after I know the people deleted them.  Anyone know an answer to this?

If you celebrate Thanksgiving, do you have any favorite TV shows or events that you associate with this holiday? If so, why do you love them?

Right now, Slapsgiving.

For how much money would you be willing to spend a whole week away from the Internet, TV, and mobile phones? Would you suffer withdrawal pains?

No, because I do it now and then.   If it wasn't for work, I would have even more TV and internet free days.  You get more work done without all that nonsense. :0

Scary movies can be humorous, even when it's unintentional - what are the funniest scary movie moments of all time?

The Final Destination movies are pretty funny in that Rube Goldberg sense.

If you could eliminate all the calendars, clocks, and measurements of time, how would it change your life? How about the world?

I am not sure how you would erase all time, since the sun itself is used for timing as well...and without the sun, humans would basically be dead.  Well, after they used up all their resources to grow crops with sunlamps.

I guess if all time was erased, I wouldn't be doing much but sitting in the dark.

Someone also pointed out age is a measure of time, so we'd be immortal and sitting in the dark...I wonder how long it would take for our resources to run out.   There would be no crops, everything would have to be grown in greenhouses...but how long would take last?
